Back by popular demand, ForestHer NC has an exciting new lineup of virtual content curated for female private forest landowners in North Carolina. ForestHer NC was developed by several partner agencies, including the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission, to directly connect with the 65% of women who own or jointly-own private forestland in our state. However, the seminars are open to anyone interested in learning about North Carolina’s forest ecosystems, woodlands management, the wildlife that inhabit these lands and land management resources.
ForestHer NC will present one interactive workshop per month, January thru July, from 1 – 2:30 p.m. with an optional half hour afterward for discussion.
The first three interactive webinars of 2021 will concentrate on enjoying your woodlands. The second group of presentations will focus on protecting your land and wildlife habitats. Registration for each webinar will be available online approximately two weeks prior to each class on our website.
