For some, hunting deer with the use of dogs is a deeply rooted tradition, for others, it poses significant conflicts, especially given the rapidly changing landscape and growth in the state. Please join Wildlife Commission staff at one of four public input meetings to discuss deer hunting with the use of dogs, associated conflicts and potential solutions. All meetings begin at 7 p.m. A virtual meeting option will be offered for those who cannot or do not wish to attend in person. Virtual meeting information will be posted to this page as it becomes available.
Meeting UpdateDue to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meetings that were previously scheduled in March have been postponed until further notice. The Commission will discuss future plans when public meetings can once again resume.
