RALEIGH, N.C. (May 9, 2006) – The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission is seeking nominations for membership on its Nongame Wildlife Advisory Committee. Nominations are due by June 1. The committee, which advises the Commission on nongame and endangered wildlife issues across the state, meets four times per year. Individuals should be willing and able to contribute consistently to the efforts of the committee. This committee prides itself on having a diverse membership with regional, habitat and species-specific expertise. The Commission will appoint a committee member, who will serve a three-year term.
