North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission

Participate in the Wildlife Action Plan Revision Process (Continued)

The Wildlife Resources Commission would like your participation during the revision effort.

The Wildlife Resources Commission is seeking participation and input from our partners and interested citizens because you are important stakeholders in conservation of North Carolina’s natural resources.

Several ad hoc Stakeholder Advisory Committees (Stakeholder Committees) will be formed  ‘as needed’ to help us review draft materials.

  • The first Stakeholder Committee will review and comment on draft habitat vulnerability assessment reports and strategies and recommendations for addressing climate change impacts to fish and wildlife species.  These reports were drafted by the NC Natural Heritage Program and staff of the Wildlife Resources Commission is currently reviewing them.
  • Please note, you will not need to join a Stakeholder Committee to help us with revision of the Wildlife Action Plan.  Future opportunities to review chapters or the entire draft document after they are developed will be announced on the Wildlife Resources Commission’s Conserving web page.

  • If you would like to participate on a Stakeholder Committee, click on the “Complete A Volunteer Form” button to complete a form.
