BOATING SAFETY PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT "BLUE LIGHT = NO WAKE"

DIALOGUE: Boaters, when you are within 100 feet of a patrol boat with a flashing blue light, you must slow to a no wake speed.

DIALOGUE: In narrow channels, it's within 50 feet.

DIALOGUE: It's the law throughout North Carolina, since Jan. 1, 2007.

DIALOGUE: No wake helps protect boaters, officers and emergency workers.

DIALOGUE: Remember, a blue light equals no wake.
