These programs for adults are led by staff instructors with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission and are offered across North Carolina. Click on the map for current programs in each region.

Project WILD workshops are for adults interested in teaching young people about wildlife. Participants receive the Project WILD K-12 educator guide along with materials specifically about North Carolina wildlife. The educator guide contains more than 150 hands-on activities that focus on wildlife and natural resources.

Advanced WILD workshops are single-topic programs designed for educators by the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission. Programs concentrate on a particular wildlife species, habitat or natural resource.

CATCH workshops (Caring for Aquatics Through Conservation Habits)
use the CATCH curriculum guide to explore ways to teach about aquatic environments through fish biology, outdoor ethics, water safety and fishing skills.  Techniques and activities are geared for children ages 8 to 15.

Outdoor Skills classes offer all adults training and practice in specific skills such as wildlife identification, outdoor photography and fishing. Most classes are free of charge.
