The Centennial Campus Center for Wildlife Education opened in 2006 in Raleigh on the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University. The Center offers wildlife-related classes, workshops and programs for K-12 teachers and students, for higher education faculty and students and the general public. Programming is catered for specific ages and needs and is offered free of charge unless otherwise noted. For teachers and students in the public school system, curriculums are easily correlated to the N.C. Standard Course of Study. The Center also offers programs that meet badge requirements for Scouts, and programs can cater to current topics for the Envirothon. There are often unique teaching partnerships with North Carolina State University faculty and other resource professionals. A visit to the Center is further enhanced with interactive exhibits on Piedmont habitats.
The Centennial Campus Center for Wildlife Education is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. Some events may have extended hours or occur on specific days. The Center and Wild Store are closed all State holidays. PROGRAMS
