Pisgah Education Center

 

The Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education explores North Carolina's mountain wildlife and habitats.

Pisgah Map Location:
The center is located in Pisgah National Forest on Highway 276 in Pisgah Forest next to the Bobby N. Setzer Fish Hatchery.

Hours of Operation:
Open daily 8 a.m.–4:45 p.m.
Closed on Easter weekend and other state holidays except for Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Admission/Donations:
Admission is free; please call to sign up for programs.
Contributions to the Pisgah Center are gratefully accepted; a donation box is located at the entrance. Please ask at the information desk about tax-deductible gifts to the Pisgah Center.

Accessibility:
All exhibits are universally accessible. Hearing assistance devices are available for video presentations.

The N.C. Wild Store:
The N.C. Wild Store offers nature-oriented merchandise, including books, posters, gifts, artwork and apparel.  The store also carries Wildlife Commission educational materials.  All proceeds of N.C. Wild Store products support conservation education projects and programs.
