Waterway Marking

The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC) Waterway Marking program includes the maintenance of over 1600 buoys and navigational aids statewide for inland waterbodies including the Intracoastal Waterway. This program conforms to the U.S. Coast Guard Uniform Waterway Marking System. NCWRC Boating Technicians help to maintain this project on over 80 waterbodies. Some of them are listed below.
