The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission is required to develop conservation plans for all animals listed as Endangered, Threatened or Special Concern. These plans include analysis of the factors that have been identified as causing the decline of the species and the measures that can be taken to restore the species. These plans are developed with input from the Nongame Wildlife Advisory Committee and the public. The following Wildlife Conservation Plans were approved by the Wildlife Commissioners at their Dec. 10, 2020 business meeting.
