Late/No Show Policy:
\n\nThese classes fi ll very quickly\, and we usually have a very long waiting list. Our goal i s to serve as many interested students as we can with our given resources. If for any reason\, you can no longer attend\, please let us know promptl y. If possible\, cancellations should be made with 72 hours prior to your class date. This will allow adequate time to offer the space to someone wh o has been placed on the waitlist. Participants that do not show for their pre-registered program may lose their registration fee or may not be allo wed to register for future programs.

\n\nAll progr ams will begin at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may forfeit thei r slot to waitlisted students who are on site. Late participants may only join the program if it does not cause undue disruption to the class in pro gress and at the discretion of the instructor.  \;

Dress:
\n\nWe encourage all students to dr ess comfortably and appropriately for current weather conditions.  \;A brimmed hat and protective eyewear are encouraged for all fishing activit ies\; however\, these items are required for all f ly-fishing programs. Closed-toed shoes are appropriate for footwear at all programs.

\n\nRod building and lure making studen ts should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes to protect against spills. Lure making students should also wear long sleeve shirts during class. The Pechmann Center will provide additional protective outer garments during these classes.

\n\nWhat&rsquo\;s Needed: strong>
\n\nThe Pechmann Center will provide all the equipment and m aterials needed to participate in our programs. For outdoor programs\, we encourage participants to bring\; water\, snacks\, sunscreen\, insect repe llent\, a hat\, and sunglasses. Please\, do not bring fishing tackl e\, bait\, sandals\, or flip flops.

\n\nWe ather Guidelines
\n\nAll outdoor fishing events will be con ducted weather permitting. Weather permitting is defined as every day\, un less there is active precipitation\, lighting in the area\, extremely hot or cold conditions\, or public service announcements that advise people to stay indoors due to weather conditions that could be hazardous. Short per iods of time outdoors may be provided even in very hot or cold weather. Pa rticipants are responsible for their hydration and proper dress while atte nding classes. However\, it will be the Pechmann Center staff&rsquo\;s dis cretion to halt any activity or event\, whenever an unsafe condition exist s. \;

\n\nPhoto Release Notice:
\n\nCompletion of this program registration grants the North Caro lina Wildlife Resources Commission permission to use photographs or video taken at this event for educational and promotional purposes of the Wildli fe Resources Commission in any media\, including its website.
