Home From The Hunt™ is a nationally recognized campaign that encourages everyone to be prepared and be safe during time spent outdoors.
Home From The Hunt™ teaches — and sportsmen practice — stewardship of natural resources. Sportsmen provide the economic backbone for maintaining habitats, conducting wildlife research and resource protection. Mentoring and youth involvement in the outdoor-related recreation are provided through programs such as Becoming an Outdoors-Woman, youth hunts, disabled sportsmen and mobility impaired hunting and fishing opportunities, and a fishing tackle loaner program.
Home From The Hunt™ hosts the annual Youth Hunter Safety Skills Tournaments for competition in shotgun, rifle archery and orienteering for senior (high school) and junior (middle and elementary schools) division teams.
