Want to learn about the fishing opportunities at our North Carolina coastal fishing piers? Want to get hands-on instruction while trying your luck in the surf? Join the knowledgeable staff of Fayetteville Cumberland Parks and the NCWRC for this introductory class. This is a two-part program consisting of a 1.5 hr. classroom seminar followed by an optional field trip to a coastal pier on a date that's TBD. Topics include the bait, tackle and techniques needed to catch a variety of fish from the pier. You must attend the seminar to be eligible for the fishing trip.  Program is limited to ages 15 and up.
