· Finding the rod spine
· Prepping guides and handles for installation
· Guide spacing
· Basic guide wraps
· Applying epoxy
The course will be limited to 12 students due to space limitations. Pre-registration is required. Due to the length and complexity of this program, it is not recommended for youth under the age of 16 years old.
This workshop requires approximately 8 -10 hours to complete. Therefore it will be an all day class, from 8 am to 5 pm. Students will work at their own pace under guidance from staff and volunteers. Epoxy will be applied to threads as the final step, and rods will need to dry overnight. Completed rods may be picked up the following Monday or next business day.
