On the Water: West Fork of Pigeon River 5-21-21

Spend time on a local river with a fishing mentor learning how to catch trout. Topics will include: casting techniques, reading the water, fly selection, and how to properly land a trout. Previous participation in either our Fly Fishing School or Introduction to Fly Fishing class required. Equipment and materials provided. Meet at the Sunburst Recreational Area on HWY 215, just above Lake Logan. Bring your lunch and water to drink. Ages 12 and up.
This program will take place entirely outside, so dress accordingly.

A valid NC Inland Fishing License is required for all participants 16 years of age & up. You can purchase a license by visiting ncwildlife.org, via phone at (888) 248-6834, or at the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education.
