Biology for Hunters, Regulations, Where to Hunt and Scouting
Hunting-related programming is provided through cooperative efforts between the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission and its valued conservation partner volunteers.
Although open to all skill levels, Turkey Hunting webinars are specifically geared for those who are interested in turkey hunting, but don’t know how to get started especially those lacking an existing hunting mentor.
Multi skill and knowledge topics, conducted over three (3) consecutive evenings, include biology, habits and habitats, scouting, essential equipment including clothing, guns and ammo, setup, effective shot placement, decoy placement, field dressing/processing/recipes and conclude with a Q&A session. NOTE: Recorded (non live) seminars will not have a Q&A session.
On-line pre-registration is required and space is limited. (**See registration instructions below “before” attempting registration).
NOTE: Under 16 years of age require permission from parent / guardian to attend.
