Prescribed Burn Today on Suggs Mill Pond Game Land

RALEIGH, N.C. (Nov. 18, 2015) — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission is conducting a prescribed burn today on the following game land:

WHERE: One location:

  • Suggs Mill Pond Game Land in Bladen County; 54 acres 5 miles northeast of White Oak. GPS coordinates: 34 41.9’, -78 50.5’

WHAT:  Prescribed burn to reduce pine litter and undesired vegetation, and to stimulate growth of native vegetation to benefit wildlife.
