Event Description:
Event Description: With more than 14 hands-on, interactive exhibits and demonstrations, Wildlife Expo 2009 is a great way to learn more about the natural environment and the important roles that hunting and fishing play in North Carolina's fish and wildlife conservation. Activities at the Wildlife Expo 2009 include:
- Shoot a BB gun
- See live birds of prey
- Test duck and goose calls
- Touch genuine animal skulls and pelt
- Go kayaking
- Learn about North Carolina’s proud hunting heritage
- Go fishing
Participants age 15 and younger can register to win lots of great fishing prizes, including a lifetime fishing license generously provided by the family of John E. Pechmann.
