On Sept. 26, 2009, attend one of six free*, family-oriented events supported by the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission and learn about fishing, hunting and wildlife conservation in North Carolina.
Go fishing! Shoot a BB gun! See live animals!
Learn about North Carolina’s hunting heritage!
The events, held in conjunction with National Hunting and Fishing Day, provide opportunities to connect with nature, test outdoor skills and learn about wildlife conservation through exhibits and demonstrations, many of which are interactive and hands on.
Times and activities vary for each event. Click on the map or link below to find out more about an event nearest to you. See you in September!
* The Greenwing National Hunting and Fishing Day event has a $20 registration fee.
